A pop musician trained in classical and jazz, Fox began his career playing gigs in NYC clubs and Catskill Mountain resorts. Starting at age 20, he landed a series of record deals on Polydor, Columbia and RCA. His releases include “The Colors are Still There,” “See You on Sunday,” “A Painting,” the charted single, “But I Could Reach the Wisdom of Solomon, and the Top 10 Dance Club hit, “In the Jungle.”

While the labels were having their rough times (lots of firings and staff turnover) the artists were suffering too. Change of staff meant new people who didn’t know you and didn’t care since they didn’t sign you. So in order to survive, Fox got into the jingle biz and became quite successful.

He moved to California, formed a new partnership, Patterson, Walz & Fox, and composed music for hundreds of commercials, promos for the major networks, and TV themes. Fox’s personal contributions were writing and producing music for Eye to Eye with Connie Chung, Bryant Gumbel’s Public Eye, CBS Saturday Morning, and the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. For this he received his share of Clio and Telly awards, which he says with a smile, made convenient doorstops. He co-scored two of the Killer Tomato movies with Patterson, and was the voice of “FT” (Fuzzy Tomato). He’s still waiting for George Clooney to invite him to dinner.

Then Fox took on several new challenges. He wrote two full-length musicals, co-created a series of multi-ethnic children’s books (narrated by actor Robert Guillaume), and released five CDs on his own label, Wire Duck Records.

Fox missed being on stage but wanted to do something unique. He taught himself animation and videography and created a one-man multimedia show, Pigeonholes. Each song is a self-contained story with live performance interacting with the screen. It got audience raves in San Diego and Hollywood.

A few years later, Dan Rather—and his theme—exited CBS leaving a dent in Fox’s wallet. With his sense of humor still intact, he saw another opportunity: a one-man show called, Thank You, Dan Rather, which he showcased in Ft. Lauderdale just months after relocating to Florida in 2007. One critic cheerfully commented that Fox must be “a lot of fun at parties.”

Immediately after that, Fox finished recording his latest CD and is working on a new solo act. Long interested in subjects like human rights, freedom and peace, his lyrics reflect his views. Now It’s Personal is a gritty, edgy, honest view of the world. Not always pretty, but hopeful.

Chris DeMarco began his career in music as a much sought-after musician and band front man, having shared the stage and played with a virtual who's who of super-musicians of the '70's and '80's. After deciding to leave behind the glare of the bright lights of Hollywood and the ever-pulsing New York music scene, DeMarco settled into the cadence of more laid back climes that now finds him at his most serene self. His latest release Lost and Found - his first on his self-distributed label Dreamco Music, shows him to be in fine musical form as he treats us to a volume of classic fare meant to please the true Rock aficionados among us

Lost and Found is an aptly named album that weaves together DeMarco's past and present musical contributions into one cohesive work, featuring the likes of Dick Wagner(Alice Cooper Band),Tommy Talton(Gregg Allman Band and Cowboy),Ken Mazur(Robert Palmer Band),and Barry Richman (Lynard Skynard) onGuitar; Billy Langleyon Keyboards; Rhys Clark(Billy Joel Band and Freddy Fender Band) playing drums; andJim Fielder(Buffalo Springfield, Blood Sweat and Tears and Neil Sedaka) on Bass. Billy Joel appears on the bonus track Sail Away.

Currently residing in the Atlanta, Georgia area with his wife Charlotte, Chris DeMarco has proven his mettle as a legitimate artist time and time again. From his glory days as a front man for the Island Records recording act Riff Raff, which he formed in 1977, to his contributions to the work of the legendary cadre of musicians he also calls friends, Chris DeMarco's music and artistry has stood the test of time. Still in his musical prime, and uncompromising in his commitment to making excellent music, he is without a doubt the stuff legends are made of.

You can find Chris DeMarco's Lost and Found on iTunes, Rhapsody, & Napster. The physical CD can be purchased through CD Baby and a variety of retailers throughout the U.S.

Midwest favorite Bluesman Jerry Forney...

Once having been ask "who was his most favorite?" Sam Phillips , Sun Records stated hands down "Charlie Rich" ! often noted by Charlie that Jerry was one of his Favorite guitar players of all times. Though playing slide peddle steel thru the stage shows, after He an Jerry would traverse down to the local bars and lay in the blues together.. Jerry on guitar and charlie on the piano.. mega awsome !!!
Jerry Hails from Northwest of Missouri yet is no stranger to the Nashville scene having called it his "other home" since back in the mid 70's.. later moving over to the Austin scene and making himself known with many there.
Owner of Flying Coyote Records and a BMI registered artist/writer/producer Jerry has marched this "Unique" label into a well known label as well as self made artist to many in the Indie arena of music. Jerry's "signature sound" Now in its 30th year this label and artist comes home to any listener with "smooth & melodic" tones that has notably pleased.. Show class material and showmanship is always present with this artist as he won't settle for half a show anytime...Ask any musician that has worked with man,the most noted thing said when ask is Jerry won't hesitate to "lay into you" when your playing is off!" yet won't bat an eye in saying so when he feels his own is not at peek. Jerry notes any artist is as only as good as his next gig, in thinking less your talent and ability will suffer tremendous. Any fan/patron/venue paid for a performance and its his responsibility to see they get what they paid for! thru the years its proven his success many times as this Man and his fellow musicians along with him have settled into long stints and repeat performances thru out the region.
If your fan of music, be it Blues to rock n roll or country blues even crossed with americana then Jerry is a "must hear & see" artist.
If your a venue your never wrong is trusting this artist can hold a crowd and build a "faithful" following among your patrons..
A rally or festival be there no mistake this act can and will bring a showmanship act to the event that brings "swaying & Toe tapping" and keep the crowd smiling and welcoming...

Of all his albums Jerry had, one that he performed some Harry Fox cover tunes, never again said Jerry! this isn't me, it has to be me or I am a nobody.. If I am ever famous for anything I want it to be me and what I done, not someone else.
When asked "why after all these years your not a famous star?" He smiled and replied " I never sold out like a lot to the corporate store" Your only in the limelight as long as someone is pushing you along with Big money... without it your on a long road to build your own success as many of the truly greats have done. In thinking this out I rationalized that its true that the many "Greats" I could think of are best known by there name first, not some label... Fans think most of many things such as sound and soul in blues.. and its the 'heart' of what will truly make you the best of the best and a known name in the hearts of those..

Jerry has five albums to his credit and more in the works present time. I have and love listening to any blues artist, yet in my heart I hold "Fat dog blues" & Ice & steel" as classics of blues anyone can appreciate and should own!
Texas/oklahoma style blues that "simmer" the mind and engulf the heart..If your ok with an album of some covers reincarnated with true vocals and supurb quality with honors to those original artist who first performed them along with some of his own originals then Poor boy blues reaches into star class as well.
Jerry's most recent album "Hard to catch" is a "unique" album as well as a testimonial as to how this artist can and does achieve genre crossovers with flawless efforts.. touch of blues, americana, pop and country in the soul blues to ballads.. This early 2007 release is still "coming home" with rave reviews from fans to venues.. and to think there is more in the coming?

Jerry, when is the next album coming? he looked out the window and replies when its "time" just in thinking myself I would be in a hurry to get it out.. I realized his meaning and his character holds him to his moto.. It has to be right without exceptions. anyless is a "demoralizing" reflection to himself" he let down his followers.
I have learned over time of this artist that thru his years his abilities are never "stiffled" with a desire to be a "show off" as much as just himself and make true to his heart what he always strives to bring to the hearts of others.
Jerry has cut heads with such greats as Magic slim to Bugsy Mauh ( bass player,Paul Butterfield band<woodstock & era ) having played lead guitar with Bugsy's band the insects as well I did want to ask Jerry why he keeps to himself of these accomplishments? Again I answered my own question.. This true to life time musicians his own words " It has to be me, not someone else". So I never asked the question of " Who do you think you sound most like?" As I already again knew the answer. "Jerry Forney". This artist won't compromise himself to sounding like any of the greats for those greats don't deserve "wannabe, copy catters.. Stand out and up and be yourself..

I myself do personally know this artist and can attest to the fact he can accomplish more in a day as his mind and hands are always busy. Himself at times secluded in his nestled little home in rural midwest usa, feet propped upon his pot belly wood stove and guitar in hand reaching into his mind for the next lyrics of songs that tell his life, love and happiness along with the little failures we al. Many nights and times I have sat and discussed everything from politics to love, we come back always to music and what his heart and desires are within his chosen trade. Laughing time and again when I or he would make statement to something Jerry would pipe up " Theres a song in that". All in all this artist is truly happiest talking about his family roots and heritage dating back to France, seemingly to have a power and yearn to know "who, what and where" he came from.

I certain can't complete this review without the mention that in the early days dating back to high school Jerry was very much not the only one in his family "blossoming" with talent as for his first band was just that. "The Forney Brothers band", together they outgrew the rich black dirt farming communities they hailed from and reached out and traveled together to Nashville and a long track record with many well knowns thru out the land, together and individually thru the years Jerry along with brothers at other times shared working with many of these artist a working relationship in music and venue, other folk such as :
Peggy Sue & Sony wright
Rudy Lyle
Tommy cash
Kinky Friedman
Town Van zants
Melba Montgomery
La Costa
Freddie weller
Candice Howard
Teddy & the tall tops
George Morgan
Panama Red
Merle Kilgore
Randy Girley
John Anderson
Del Reeves
Mississippi Fred Mc dowell
along with many others I can't recall ( not certain I spelled each of the above correct)
I can true to life say that there is a lot more to come to the world of music from this man and know he will share it with his talent and vigor to "present" it right or you won't hear it at all.

You can find this artist at a host of places on the net for albums,Mp3 downloads and fan merchandise. Or even post a comment to this show and the cat will pass it on....

Don't settle for my words here in describing this artist and his abilities.. Make your own judgement..

For the past 2 years Audio Spaghetti has been performing and touring in support of their 2006 release Take Control. Their single "Know What I Mean" is currently spinning on many college and national radio stations and has garnered the group rave reviews in regional and national media. Their busy schedule and powerful live shows have helped create a "broad and diverse" fan base in the Midwest that is constantly growing. Audio Spaghetti's approach at songwriting is simple yet powerful. Their groove-oriented songs are a new approach to pop/rock music; they are very real and on the level with the change in the musical tides today. They are bringing the guitar solo back and doing it just right; with amazing songs, catchy hooks, and great performances. Obsidian is one of the most obvious original bands to hit the scene. Obsidian hails from the backwoods of northwest Missouri, the least likely place to find such a stellar band. It’s from these backwoods that allowed Obsidian not to be influenced by any local scene or the latest trends. Because of that Obsidian is a true to itself original hard rocking band.

Obsidian was founded by brothers Nikk and Steven Wolf. Like many other brother duos the Wolf brothers are a musical force to be reckoned with. It was only natural for the Wolf brothers to look for other musicians with the same passion and skills they have. Finding other musicians in rural Missouri would be next to impossible but destiny always has its way and the Wolfs were gifted with Hunter Kelso and Zakk Kelmel to join in on the musical mayhem.

This hard hitting young and talented rock /metal band is taking to the road this Summer. Destination ... The famed Whiskey A GoGo where many a greats such as the Doors made headlines and waves with desitination..
stopping off in Denver with set at the 3 Kings Tavern and more to be announced as the tour progress between now and launch..
This group wants to make friends with all from around the world and would love to find many a potential fans and street teamers along there route to destination June 17th !

Obsidian brings back to the stage all the rock and roll attitude any rock fan craves. Nikk has a vocal styling that demands your attention. Steven slaps you around with his heavy machine gun guitar while Hunter and Zakk hold down the rhythm section. Zakk pounds the drums like a machine, never missing a beat and Hunter works the stage like a true rock god bringing the bass. In a time where rock and roll has lost its originality and spectacle, along comes Obsidian to save rock as we know it.
